Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is the use of exercise in water to treat ailments and aid rehabilitation.
By harnessing the properties of water it provides a reduced or non weight bearing environment which allows the movement of joints to be done without any strain or pressure.
This procedure can be very beneficial after joint surgery. If this would be an appropriate treatment for your dog the vet will refer you to a local hydrotherapy pool that we work closely with Carlton Canine Hydrotherapy Centre.
